Amazona autumnalis diadema
The Red-lored Amazon lives in tropical regions of the Americas, from eastern Mexico south to Ecuador, with a disjunct population in central Brazil.
They are usually seen in groups that can have from six up to a hundred birds.
The above picture was taken in August 2006. Some subspecies other than diadema have yellow cheeks.
